Terms of service

Last updated 30 September 2026

Draft — pending legal review

These terms describe how we actually operate and are provided in good faith, but they have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. If anything here matters to a decision you are making, please ask us and we will confirm it in writing.

Who we are

These terms are between you and WEBLAB-PH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES, TIN 410-100-899, trading as Weblab PH, of STA. CRUZ, MANILA. You can reach us at support@weblab.ph.

We are a reseller. Hosting and related services run on infrastructure we buy from established providers, and domain names are registered through an accredited registrar. We are responsible to you for the service you buy from us; the capabilities of that service are those of the underlying provider.

By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms, the acceptable use policy and the refund policy. Domain registrations are also subject to the rules of the registry for that extension, which the registrar requires us to pass on to you.

Your account

  • You must give accurate details, and keep them current. Registries require a valid registrant address, and a domain registered against false details can be suspended by the registry.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password and two-factor codes to yourself.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to your account.

Service availability

We target 99.9% uptime, backed by our provider's service level agreement. This is a target rather than a guarantee: we cannot promise more availability than the infrastructure we buy provides, and we would rather say so than offer a figure we do not control.

Planned maintenance is announced in advance where we know about it. Some upstream maintenance is not announced to us in advance, and we pass on what we are told as soon as we are told it.

Prices, invoices and tax

  • All prices are in Philippine pesos.
  • We are Non-VAT registered. Invoices carry the legend “This document is not valid for claiming input tax.” and show no VAT breakdown.
  • Renewal prices differ from first-term prices on most products, and are shown next to the registration price wherever a price appears. The renewal price shown when you bought applies to your first renewal.
  • After that, renewal prices can change, mostly because our own costs are set by suppliers and registries in US dollars. We will tell you the new price at least 30 days before a renewal falls due. The renewal reminders show the exact amount, and you can cancel or transfer the service before paying.
  • A price change never applies to a term you have already paid for.

Renewals

Auto-renew is off unless you turn it on. We send renewal reminders before expiry. Renewing before the expiry date is your responsibility, and it is the only way to be sure a service carries on without interruption.

After the expiry date we keep your account open for renewal for a 7-day grace period before we suspend it. The grace period is a window to pay, not a promise that the service keeps running: the underlying provider may stop the service at the expiry date itself.

Domain expiry follows registry rules rather than ours. An expired domain can stop resolving at once, and those rules include a redemption period with a restore fee set by the registry.

Refunds

Hosting and email carry a 30-day money-back period. Domain registrations and issued SSL certificates are non-refundable. The refund policy explains both in full.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend a service for non-payment after the grace period, or for a breach of the acceptable use policy. Where we can give notice first, we will.

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund a term already paid for, except under the money-back period above.

After a service is suspended or cancelled, its files, databases and mailboxes are kept only as long as the underlying provider keeps them, and are then permanently deleted. Take your own copy before letting a service lapse.

Domain names

  • You are the registrant of a domain you register through us, and we will give you its authorisation code when you ask.
  • Registries lock a domain against transfer to another registrar for 60 days after it is registered or transferred, and some extensions have their own rules. Those locks are the registry's and we cannot lift them.
  • Disputes over who is entitled to a domain name are settled under the registry's dispute policy (for example the UDRP). We follow the outcome of that process.

Your content and responsibility for it

You are responsible for the content you host, the email you send and the domains you register. If a third party makes a claim against us because of them — for example over copyright, a trademark, or a breach of the acceptable use policy — you agree to cover the reasonable costs we incur as a result.

Your data

Your content remains yours. We access it only to operate the service, to respond to a support request you have made, or where we are legally required to. See the privacy policy.

You can request an export or ask us to delete your data. Financial records — invoices and payments — are retained as long as tax law requires, which we cannot waive.

Liability

We are liable for what we get wrong, up to the amount you have paid us for the affected service in the twelve months before the problem. We are not liable for loss of profit or business, or for loss of data where you had no backup of your own — keep your own backups, whatever backup service you buy from anyone.

We are not liable for a failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including an outage, error or policy change at an upstream provider, registry or payment processor, a network or power failure, a natural disaster, or an act of government.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by Philippine law, and nothing here takes away your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Act (RA 7394).

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
